The hotel itself is a 2 start hotel. Small but clean. The reason I would recommend this Hotel is Naoki who greeted up and checked us in. He was so nice and helpful during our 4 night stay. He made us feel at home. Also, the location is superb. Just two short stops from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku Station. Around the hotel at Hatagaya Station are convenience Stores, and reasonably prices restaurants.

The hotel staff were the most pleasant and friendly people. They accommodated me with the most supportive way to any request or needs I had. The property was located in a quiet area. The breakfast included was simple and healthy.

My favorite stay thought my trip. The beds were uncomfortable but I figured they would be as I booked a traditional style room with mats on the floor. Otherwise, the staff was just wonderful, there was laundry by the office and everything you needed in that room! Everything is so close by including the station, and if you book here, be sure to try the bakery with the black label on the corner and the soy ramen across the main road hiding up the stairs (also sells tacos). I do not remember their names but I can guarantee they are the best! The ramen was the best ramen I had throughout my whole trip. I cannot rave enough about the staff and stay at this hotel! Book it, you will not be disappointed!

Staff was very friendly, room size is about what you except but you won’t be staying in your room for that long anyways. I recommend if you’re planning to explore Shinjuku/Shibuya area, there’s a train station just around the corner and it’s only 2 stops from Shinjuku station.

This was definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Tokyo. It was very affordable, convenient and walkable from major stations. In a location that makes it easy to get around anywhere you want! The breakfast was delicious every morning, and the view from the window was very nice. The staff were very accommodating and kind, and I will definitely return to this hotel. I loved the area it was in and my overall experience here was wonderful. Thank you Sakura Hotel!!
