For a 3 stars hotel, it is a decent hotel to stay in terms of cleanliness and service. Their staff was very helpful and friendly. Left a note asking for extra blankets and hangers, the next day after coming back to the room, there were all the requested items. The rooms are tiny like everywhere in Japan, but for just a sleeping quarter it is good enough. The hotel staff made sure to clean the room every day. They also offer in-room massage and facial services which was surprisingly good for a 3 stars hotel. The location was great and amazing as it is 5 min walk from the JR station and less than 10 min walk to take other lines to move around Tokyo. Having the JR close by is extremely convenient to travel to Narita airport as you only need to take one train to get to Narita. It is extremely convenient to go to everywhere else in the city, and if you want to just hang around Shibuya main areas, everything is within 10 - 15 min walking distance. There are drug stores, cosmetic stores, a supermarket and tons of eateries next to the hotel making it very convenient if you want to grab something quick. The only few minor things noted which are NOT deal breakers were 1) the head shower outlet from the ceiling would have a extremely tiny leak if the water is ran for a while and you are using the handheld head shower to shower, and 2) the paint on the walls close to the floor area are starting to peel badly. Would stay again in this hotel when traveling back to the city.

Amazing but does need upgrades. Service was great. Shower was even better. Didn't care for the lack of space in the room though. But overall I'd give it an 8 out of 10

Stayed at Shibuya Granbell Hotel and had a great experience overall! Pros: • Fantastic location – just a short walk from Shibuya Station, making it super convenient for exploring Tokyo. • Well-equipped – the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. • Friendly staff – everyone was helpful and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Cons: • Bathroom lighting – a bit dim, which made it tricky for getting ready. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a well-located and comfortable stay in Shibuya. Would definitely stay again!

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Shibuya station and it delivers on this point. We also researched room size and its premium twin room offers much more floor space than other hotels in the price range plus a large wardrobe so that one could unpack rather than living out of a suitcase. The downside is a scruffy reception; no public space and a really grotty carpet in the room. It’s fortunate they provide slippers as I wouldn’t walk with bare feet on that carpet

Good stay. The room could definately benefit from some renovations - nothing too wrong with it but there was paint chipping and some other little things i noticed. Location was good, just a 5 minute walk from shibuya station and shibuya scramble. Plenty of food options around, including a 7-11 lol. I would say this is in the more low-key 'local' part of shibuya. The staff were very kind and friendly. I enjoyed my time at this hotel.
