There are so many positive points about this hotel including excellent & obliging staff.... BUT, sadly :- Towels, face washers etc with revoltingly, unpleasant odour and very uncomfortable ( too short) pillows detracted from my stay ( & comfort). Also insufficient space for my (minimal) clothing made each day, logistically, very awkward. Beautifully-presented (Japanese only) breakfast in a lovely room though with horrid, undrinkable (very bitter) coffee. ( I only wanted say a croissant, maybe a hard-boiled egg, a selection of fresh fruit & decent coffee! ) Only one English -speaking TV channel (BBC World News) further highlighted, there is little interest in / care of non-Japanese speaking guests. Many good features at this very conveniently- located hotel but too many irritations to have me stay again. ( NOTE: I needed to stay another four days in Tokyo but went elsewhere, very close by too ...& for much less ¥ cost plus more comfortably appointed.)

Convenient but small

Pros: The location
Cons: More room to store luggage
Location: The fish market is only a 10-15 minute walk and is well worth seeing
We stayed 3 nights in a twin room which was quite small, particularly the bathroom. Possibly not an issue for a couple however for 2 women sharing there was not nearly enough room. The location is excellent with train stations within a short walking distance. Checking in and out was quick and efficient however wifi was a bit slow.
