Very small rooms. Hard Japanese pillows but you can rent soft ones cheaply. Very close to Senso-ji for a quick night visit without mega people. Very clean and warm. Close to train stations. Friendly helpful staff.

Overall, our stay was good. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to Asakusa station, and also close to the Skytree / Solamachi mall. The front desk staff was kind and attentive, and helped us with forwarding our luggage to Kyoto. Be warned that the pillows are buckwheat, which I found incredibly uncomfortable — they apparently have two other kinds of pillows in a cubby in the lobby for you to “rent”, but if they are al gone for the day, the staff does not have any extra to give you.

Our stay here was quite lovely. The staff were very helpful and helped us organise our luggage transfers! Very friendly! Location was very good, right across from major sites, street food and station (10 minute walk). Also has two cafes around the corner and across a 7/11. Rooms were small & compact (as we expected). You can only open one luggage at a time (and we had four towards the end of our stay). So if you don’t mind shuffling around, we do recommend staying here. Bathroom was small too, toilet was right by the door and the door opens to the hallway so if you have luggage in the hallway it’ll be hard to get out. Beds were slightly comfortable, if you don’t mind a firm mattress that is! Do recommend asking for a second pillow as the pillows were quite flat. We stayed in bunk beds so maybe the mattress was different to other rooms. Overall the stay was pleasant, we really only stayed there to sleep so if you’re comfortable with the small space we do recommend it for you trip due to the closeness of everything!

We had an amazing stay at Tosei Hotel COCONE Asakusa! The staff was extremely helpful with the luggage forwarding service and even called my previous hotel to help me find headphones I had left behind. The hotel itself was very clean and spacious. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Japan!

The room & toilet is very small, there was no place to open a luggage. No storage (dresser) to put your stuff. They should have put some coat hangers on the wall. Staff is excellent.
