We had truly special and highly memorable stay at The Capitol Hotel in Tokyo. Everything was perfect. The room was comfortable, quiet, luxurious, and spacious (we had a corner king with floor to ceiling windows and south and east views of the city). The service everywhere in the hotel is second to none - from room make up multiple times per day, to daily fresh linens and towels, to the warm greetings at every corner, and even small touches like room service leaving an envelope for our unruly bunch of shopping receipts and coiling our phone charger cables and leaving a tie for them. The breakfast was also excellent, as was the check in and check out. The convenience of the hotel being above a metro station was a nice touch.

had a pleasant stay overall. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are truly excellent. Everyone was kind, professional, and very helpful, which made a big difference. The room itself felt a bit dated and could use an update. It was clean and comfortable, but not modern. Breakfast was good and reliable, but very basic, nothing special. No complaints, just not a wow experience. Overall a solid hotel mainly because of the service and location.
