My wife had been at Toowoomba Hospital for tests during the late afternoon and around 8.40 pm she was advised she would have to have an overnight stay to be monitored and I was required to find accommodation at short notice..After a quick search I chanced upon the City Motor Inn and after booking online I made my way to the Motel a short drive from the Hospital.When I arrived the Motel was obviously closed for the night so I rang the number whilst parked outside the Motel and a very friendly gentleman answered promptly and advised me he would meet me at the front reception door..Without much fuss I registered and was given a key and directions to the car park..And settled in to a very comfortable clean and quiet room.I have nothing but praise for the Manager and his genuine concern and willingness to help a person in need of a room late at night.The motel gets my tick of approval on a number of fronts..

Second stay in as many weeks. This time in room 14 and for an overnight stay I had no issues. Area around the property was fine for my needs. Staff were super helpful.

Great location..room clean and comfortable but has only hot water jug for tea/coffee..No eating utensils or microwave..overall good value $$ wise.

Our host was very welcoming and considerate. We visited on one of the busiest weekends of the year and got a last minute booking on someone else’s cancellation. While all other motels had raised their prices significantly, City Motor Inn deliberately kept their pricing reasonable. I appreciate the ethics and honesty of this decision. Our room decor was dated but spotlessly clean and had all amenities we needed. We were even offered a free breakfast in the dining room. The grounds were also maintained in an immaculate condition. Thanks for our stay, we will return (and book earlier next time!!!).
