When I first arrived, the front desk changed my room from what I had reserved. In the room, there was a leak in front of the closet because the carpet was soaked, so I asked to change rooms. The new room had a coffee maker that I thought wasn’t working but it just so happened that the outlets on that side of the room were shorting. Then the AC kept turning on and off which was further confirmation that there was something electrical going on. At 2:30 am the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the hotel. The fire department had to come and determine it was just electrical. They allowed us back into the hotel without having resolved the issue. This led to the fire alarm going off again at 4:00 am. I had a horrible experience at this hotel and while the staff were kind and apologetic, they were only putting band-aids on problems that needed bigger addressing.
