Everything was exceptionally clean and the space was so warm and cozy. We wanted a secluded cabin in the woods which we got but also had the benefit of being close to downtown!

Description misleading
The cottage itself was very nice, however the owners gave no indication the place was 200 feet away from one of the busiest 4 lane roads in Traverse City. The traffic noise was loud and constant. We had plans for a peaceful, quiet week, but that’s not what we got. We stayed inside a lot instead of enjoying the creek and the property because of the noise. I felt like we were tricked. They should have mentioned how close to the road and how loud it was. Paid a lot of money for a quiet vacation we did not get.

Perfect little cottage
My family had a wonderful stay. The kids loved the creek and hammock and played by it for hours. Everything looked just like the listing. There was an issue with the hot tub and the owners were very communicative. We would stay here again!

Very nice little cabin for a stay in Traverse City! Place was very clean and well kept. The hot tub was a very nice feature, and the creek running right of the cabin was very scenic as well! Everything inside the cabin was well stocked and we had no issues whatsoever.

Beautiful!!!!
The cottage was so clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for our New Years getaway. The owners were very responsive regarding any questions we had prior to our stay, made sure we made it safely, and thanked us for staying at their property on the day of our departure. We would stay here again, and honestly can’t wait to come back. It was cozy, the hot tub was perfect during the morning snowfall, and the fireplace was the perfect addition to our winter getaway. Highly, highly recommend staying here!!

Cute cabin, but very close to road
The cabin was wonderful. The hot tub, the fireplace, all the amenities were great. My only complaint is that the pictures don't show how close this house is to the road. Instead of enjoying the sounds of the stream, we edured the sounds of cars.

Charming cottage in great location
My husband and I loved our weekend stay at this charming revitalized 1940s cottage in Traverse City! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals for the weekend, the beds were comfy and the living spaces were tastefully adorned. The gas-fired stone fireplace was super easy to use and made the living area very cozy for catching up on our reading. The location was perfect for accessing the VASA Pathway xc ski trails which were about an 8 minutes drive away. After a great time on the trails, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax, and with the falling snow it was magical. Our dog Abby loved going for walks in the woods (state property) directly behind the cabin. In Summer, the cottage would be a great spot from which to access the beach, the TART trails and all that Traverse City has to offer. There is a bit of road noise from 3 Mile Rd, but it wasn't a problem for us. Check-in was a breeze and Lauren was readily available by phone if we needed anything. I highly recommend staying here.

Clean, quaint, pleasant, and convenient.
starting with the owners, everything about our stay was perfect. check-in, the overall condition of the cottage, and the proximity to visit many great places made this excellent. The kitchen was stocked better than any VRBO I have ever stayed at which was great because I do most of the cooking. I highly reccomend this property.

The Creek,Moon,and Stars.
I'm a 50yr old auto worker who needed fresh air and a hot tub. I decided to take my wife and mother since mom loves slot machines and my wife likes to sleep. The best experience was soaking in the hot tub in the beginning of December watching the moon and stars. The icing on the cake is hearing the creek after hours.

Very nice place
Was really hoping to use the washer and dryer I did have cloths I brought with me thinking I was able to do them other than that it was a great experience and we will be coming back just hope the washer will work this time that was a bit of an inconvenience it was one of the reason we did pick that place as well besides the hot tub we like to keep our bed dressing clean but thankyou for the great stay.
