The room was not very clean. It did not look like it had been cleaned recently. The ceiling fan had a lot of dust on it. Coffee pot had not been cleaned.

This property looked abandoned. The porches were broken. Safety did not appear to be a concern. Broken beds. Smoke alarms were removed. We moved cabins to find the new one did not have a smoke alarm. Power was glitching and the excuse was a previous fire in the area.

Cabin was sufficient for our one-night stay. Small and not a lot of extras but clean and convenient. Nice free breakfast at the hotel across the street and staff was nice.

Nightmare in Tropic

The first cabin was in poor condition and the a/c not working. The second one had cobwebs and the bed spring cover was torn and sticking out from under the bed. When I saw a tick on the pillow, that was it! We checked out. They refused a refund, but it was so uninhabitable I could not stay. Hotels.com tried on our behalf, but no go. Hotels has given us a $25 credit and I appreciate their effort. In all the year I have used Hotels.com this is the first poor review I have posted.

Check-in was across the street, which was not a big deal but was not communicated. The coffee pot was dirty. There were ants in the bathroom. The toilet was loose. Overall dusty. Bed was comfortable and after hard day on the road it was enough for a night

The wifi was so poor that we couldn't even get one device to connect for more than a couple minutes. one of the beds box springs and frame we broken prior to us arriving. The ceiling fan didn't work. The room doesn't have a deadbolt.
