The villa is situated in a green garden, next to 7 other houses of same family compound. A sandy private alleyway takes you from to the beach.
The garden ends by the road , which could get noisy on peak time after Week End beach plans, or when the moto club decides to bike east coast!
The rooms are wide and comfortable.

Wonderful property close to the beach

We have just returned from a wonderful vacation in Mauritius and were fortunate enough to spend a few days at Casa del Montoc in True D'eau Douce. This is a wonderful property and can't say enough what a great time we had there. From the booking of the villa and advise before arriving the communication with Sophie was first class. the check in/out process was very simple and we also received some very good restaurant recommendations and tips for our time in True D'Eau Douce. The walk from the villa to the beach is 60m down a secluded sandy alley and if required there are 2 beach front hotels not more than a couple hundred metres along the beach to enjoy sunbeds and drinks. The villa is a little bit out of the village but we found taxis to be very reasonable and there are plenty taxis around.The villa itself is really charming and a great place for a family. A lovely large deck area for dining, having a drink, playing games etc and the bedrooms offer plenty of space.I can thoroughly recommend Casa del Montoc!

Everything you need

The homeowner, Sophie, met as when we arrived. She had beverages and stayed to answer questions and point out features of the house. So appreciated! We had plenty of hot water very comfortable furniture, and immediate help anytime I had a question because Sophie responded so quickly. We were here in the winter so it was a bit too chilly and occasionally rainy to enjoy swimming at the beach just yards from the house, but I appreciated watching the ocean for the time I had. The covered patio with the dining room set and comfortable sofa plus the hammock were the highlight for me. We played cards and enjoyed good Mauritian food for hours out there. Would highly recommend this house!

Wonderful house with character. All of our absolutely family loved it.

Warm welcome from Paquerette had a delicious Mautitian meal for us on arrival. Plenty of room for all of us, a beautiful veranda for sitting out and chilling and just steps from the beach. Au delĂ  de la disponibilitĂ© de Sophie tout au long de notre sĂ©jour et de ses petits messages pour s'assurer que tout se passait bien, de la gentillesse de Paquerette et ses magnifiques plats mauriciens, la maison est une des rares typiques du coin, avec toit en chaume, une terrasse et jardin trĂšs agrĂ©ables. L'intĂ©rieur (bien que nous n'y soyons pas restĂ© souvent!), est trĂšs bien amĂ©nagĂ©, et les chambres ont tout le confort nĂ©cessaire, Ă  commencer par la climatisation et des salles de bain privatives. Tout est fait pour rendre le sĂ©jour parfait. Enfin, l'accueil est digne des rois, un magnifique repas nous avait Ă©tĂ© prĂ©parĂ© aprĂšs la prĂ©sentation de la maison et des facilitĂ©s. Beautiful house in great location by quiet beach

We loved our stay the house was beautiful inside felt like a home with lovely artwork, well equipped kitchen and lots of towels!! A real treat to stay somewhere which had so much character. Beach is lovely less than a minute away and quiet so just spent 4 days here swimming and relaxing after a week of sightseeing only got in the car to go to shops which were only 5 mino away. Lovely to have a complimentary meal on first night and Parquette was lovely. Hope to come again !

Dieser Ort ist etwas ganz besonderes. Das wunderschöne Haus steckt voller Inspiration und Geschichten. Ein einzigartiges GefĂŒhl barfuß 20 Sekunden ĂŒber den privaten Sandweg zum Strand zu laufen, der fast leer ist. Die Kinder ham im traumhaften Wasser gepaddelt, gespielt, Muscheln gesammelt und man kann jederzeit zum Haus flitzen sich ein Eis holen und es mit den FĂŒĂŸen im Meer genießen. Wir haben Fischern am Strand Fisch abgekauft und im Garten gegrillt, den Tag in der der HĂ€ngematte gechillt und die Kinder haben die Spielsachen im Haus erkundet. Der Teil der Insel ist ruhig und im kleinen Örtchen kriegt man eigentlich alles was man braucht. Dieser Ort ist wirklich ein kleines Paradies, wir waren sehr traurig nach einer Woche wieder zu abzureisen.

Maison authentique dans un cadre idyllique

Le village de Trou d'eau douce est trÚs sympathique et peut faire l'objet d'une base de départ pour vos différentes visites sur l'ßle Maurice. La maison est pleine de charme, trÚs jolie avec de grandes chambres et un espace à vivre/manger spacieux et convivial. La propriétaire est au petits soins pour ses hÎtes et toujours de bon conseil. Une personne vient faire une cuisine Mauricienne typique et succulente. Lors d'un prochain séjour à l'ßle Maurice nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

a beautiful house and a very friendly and hospitable host

we stayed for 6 days in this extraordinary and beautifully furnished house. The host Sophie was very kind and helpful and Paquerette, the housekeeper, was also a nice lady, who did a really good job. the house is situated close to the beach and in walking distance to Trou dÂŽeau Douce. If you are into snorkeling, Sophie recommended Kevin, whom we found to be a very sensible and experienced boat driver. we would like to come back one day.

Une maison de charme

La maison est parfaite, pleine de charme et avec tout ce qu'il faut (on sent la maison qui n'est pas juste faite pour de la location). Nous sommes arrivĂ©s en fin de journĂ©e trĂšs facilement grace aux explications claires de Sophie. Paquerette avait laissĂ© un dĂ©licieux diner tout prĂȘt et est revenue tous les 2 jours pour faire un peu de menage et preparer de dĂ©licieux plats. Nous n'avons pas rencontrĂ© Sophie mais elle a Ă©tĂ© prĂ©sente par whatssap tout au long du sĂ©jour pour rĂ©pondre Ă  nos questions ou nous donner des conseils. Un petit paradis

Notre séjour à la casa del Montoc a un été un véritable enchantement pour toute notre famille. La maison a un charme fou avec sa décoration dépaysante et originale. Localisée à proximité immédiate d'une plage magnifique, elle est parfaite pour se ressourcer en famille et sans effort. Nous avons également pu bénéficier des talents culinaires de Paquerette, qui nous a fait découvrir sa délicieuse cuisine Mauricienne. Enfin, les échanges avec Sophie ont été parfaits de simplicité, celle-ci étant trÚs attentive à nos besoins et trÚs disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Cette location est donc une magnifique découverte que nous recommandons chaleureusement.

Schönes, authentisches Haus mit großem Garten

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Paquerette mit einem fĂŒr uns gekochten Essen sehr herzlich empfangen. Das großzĂŒgige Haus war blitzsauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man merkt, dass Sophie ein HĂ€ndchen fĂŒr geschmackvolle Deko hat. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und aus den Duschen kommt reichlich warmes Wasser. Besonders gefallen hat uns die wunderbare Terrasse, auf der wir unsere Abende karten- und Dart spielend verbracht haben, sowie der große, gepflegte Garten. Ein schöner Fußweg fĂŒhrt in 2 Minuten zum herrlichen Strand. Wir haben direkt hier im glasklaren Wasser gebadet und an seiner linken Seite an den Felsen geschnorchelt. Sophie war per WhatsApp stets erreichbar, gab Tipps und hat Fragen in kĂŒrzester Zeit beantwortet. Sollten wir jemals die Möglichkeit haben, noch einmal nach Mauritius zu kommen, wĂŒrden wir sehr gerne in dieses Haus zurĂŒckkehren. Danke, dass wir hier Gast sein durften!

Sophie vous accueille avec sourire, conseil, jus et repas 
 la communication avec elle est simple et facile, ses indications sont prĂ©cises . La maison ressemble aux photos. La maison est dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t dans un esprit bohĂšme beach surf et rĂ©cupĂ©ration de trĂšs bon goĂ»t. Les chambres sont grandes et spacieuses La grande terrasse est reposante avec vue sur le jardin Prendre le petit chemin privĂ© de mĂȘme pas 100m et vous ĂȘtes sur la plage 
 juste parfait car notre fils de 6 ans pouvait y aller en toute sĂ©curitĂ© et mĂȘme faire des allers retours plages maisons pour le bonheur de ses jouets Trou d’eau douce Ă  un cĂŽtĂ© plus sauvage plus tranquille loin de la foule

Dieses Ferienhaus ist perfekt fĂŒr einen entspannten Urlaub! Hier passt alles. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit, das Haus ist super schön, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, die Lage ist perfekt!

N'hésitez pas !

Malgré un temps capricieux dû à la queue d'un cyclone sur Madagascar, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette divine maison. Pùquerette est discrÚte et active au ménage et à la cuisine. Quant à Sophie, une perle ! Disponible, arrangeante, répondant à tous nos appels ou demandes. Bref, on ne peut trouver mieux. La maison n'a pas vue mer mais tant mieux car elle est à l'abri du vent ! Alors, partez confiants avec elle.
