This place was OK. It was clean and the rooms were adequate, although I had to ask for clean bedding before I was able to sleep. Someone had burnt a large hole through the comforter and top sheet. Who knows how? Furthermore, the place is located right next to another defunct hotel that sees some not-so-great characters around it. I was concerned for our vehicle's safety as well as our personal safety because of the surrounding area and lack of quality security. We were simply passing through and needed to bed for the night and I booked based on my experiences with other Country Inn & Suites. It's not the brand, but the management and the location that make it concerning. Since it is unlikely I'll ever need to stay there again, I won't be able to give an update on any changes that have been made.

We traveled 12 hours and all we wanted was to rest however this hotel gave us a horrible noisy room next to the freeway and on top of everything a train passes at least 4 times. We immediately requested to be moved to another room but the lady at the front desk named Jackie denied our request. Expedia couldn't do anything about it either, we had a terrible night, no sleep.

Check in was great. The front desk clerk was awesome! But the moment we got in the room it was a whole new story. It was hot because the heater was left on, The walls by the entrance all have a brown liquid dried up running down the walls (its also in the bathroom), there was a-lot of hair left in the shower, the guest to the side that had the adjoining door were so loud (banging walls, messing with the door knobs and talking loud) and lastly before we left before checkout the maids were in the hallway. To me the amount i paid for this room was NOT worth it. The breakfast attendant was amazing!!! She always stocking what we out.

It was convenient that they let us use the toaster in the breakfast area at other times. We are used to better hotels like this one having more fresh fruit (like blueberries, or other seasonal fruit), or potatoes, or raw nuts for breakfast, not just animal based stuff for protein - foods that contribute to cardiac disease and cancer - the number one killers in the US every year.
