Things to Do in Tucson

Head straight to Saguaro National Park, one of the few places where you can get up close and personal with the Saguaro cactus. (Just don't get too close...they’re a little prickly!). If it's “Tucson-ny” for you out there in the desert, duck into the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum to escape the heat and learn about native flora and fauna. On the other side of the city, enjoy the beauty of the Santa Catalina Mountains and snap a few pics of scenic Sabino Canyon. Nearby, tour Biosphere 2, a research facility where scientists spent two years shut inside a network of manmade ecosystems, or head south of Tucson to the Pima Air & Space Museum, one of the largest aerospace museums in the world. Wrap up your day in the downtown area, with scads of museums, shops, theatres and restaurants. Later, get your groove on at the nightclubs along 4th Avenue, where students from the University of Arizona congregate.
