Great place with a great view. Steep short dirt road up to the house, but a compact car had no trouble getting up and down. Our host Chris, was very helpful. I would recommend this place and will rent it again if I am back in town.

Week-long stay was too short! Very clean and comfortable home. The hosts were prompt and very helpful in answering questions and suggesting sites and restaurants. The full kitchen was well supplied. Supermarket is only 5 minute drive away. The Haven is located in a suburban area, but feels secluded. Access is via a 100-yard driveway, fairly steep but easy for our Toyota Corolla. The elevation above the neighboring houses provides panoramic views of the valley and mountains, particularly spectacular at sunset and at night. The fenced patio has comfortable chairs - a great place to see regional birds. I had not seen Gambel's Quail and Gila Woodpeckers up close before. Major road about three blocks away provides easy access to Tucson area sites, but the elevation and distance makes road noise negligible. The Hillside Haven is very well named!
