La Posada is going downhill, poor quality, dirty, understaffed, kitchen is a joke & so is the restaurant. Before these owners, it was a class place & I loved it, but now it's changing into an "EXPENSIVE DUMP'! I will never stay there again!

We enjoyed the balcony and the view. Beds were comfortable but overall the rooms need updating (worn toilet seat, cracked tiles, chipping paint, etc). We were most disappointed that the pool heater was broken making the pool unusable.

Week-end Staycation

It was a friends staycation for some R&R away from home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quaint, some upgrading needed to be done like the sliding glass door on our balcony, the tv remote did not have a guide and was difficult to see what was on, the bathroom was tiny but the Mexican tile very pretty and my mattress swayed in the m8ddle and made load sounds when i turned over at night. The pool and jacuzzi outside were nice, the courtyard was pretty.

Place was noisy, even up to 12am, people chatting next room. Pool had no towels and was not attended to make sure everything is Ok. breakfast was lacking a lot of the items available prior day (no orange juice, no fruits, no hot water for tea). Overated place in my opinion, certainly for what they charge.

Decent but dated

The rooms are dated, need technological updates like USB ports for travelers. Sink water pressure was poor while the shower was good in that regard. Toilet flushing requires holding the handle down during the entire flush. Easily correctable, upgrades needed!

Cute, but a bit dated

Breakfast was amazing, made each days start nice. The room was great, just small. Only real complaints are the toilet being hard to flush, and unfortunately the pool heater wasn’t working. I’d stay here again no question.

We were very disappointed when we called to cancel our reservation after the forecast was 4 feet of snow in the mountains. We were too scared to drive through the mountains and we spoke ro a forest ranger in Yosemite where we were leaving from, who advised us against the drive. The forecast was very heavy snow in the mountains, rain nesr the coastline. A tornado even touched down in LA. This hotel did not have the decency to cancel our reservation without penalty. Instead they kept our money. We were very disappointed.

I came to Tuscon for a course and had my flight delayed for over4hours because if weather. I made a quick call and the staff was extremely helpful and made sure that i had a room when I finally arrived. Loved the little Casita room. The breakfast was hot and delicious and all of the staff were very friendly. I will DEFINITELY stay here again when Ireturn to Tuscon. Beautiful Sunrise over the mountains as well.

What we expected from the photos was nothing like what we arrived to. This reminded me more of a Motel 6 thank a 4 star. the rooms were small and grungy. we were very uncomfortable and did not stay for our 2nd night. Very disappointed.

On checking in, charged way over booking price even with taxes and fees. 1000 (!) for 4 nights in the off-season for a shabby room, tiny bathroom (inconveniently located right inside front door with a toilet leaking water on the floor). Balcony door lock broken so no access to balcony. Only pluses were a nice pool area and decent breakfast.

When I arrived at 1pm, they upcharged me $30 to check in early. The front desk woman was rude and seemed to enjoy the power of denying my early check in despite the hotel being empty. Rooms were old and outdated. Bar/restaurant wasn’t open until 4. Keep scrolling and find a place that values their customers.

Location was central to a number of hikes and attactions. The property was in decent shape. The bathroom in our room was clean but in need of a refreash and remodel.
