generally, the hotel was nice. The staff were fantastic.. when we had an issue in our room with the bathroom it was fixed immediately. As you have several hotels, I would’ve thought you would run a shuttle between the hotels so we can access the other restaurants easily.. we did make our way over to the other restaurant and the food was spectacular. Unfortunately, the hotel is not set up for wet weather. There’s a lot of water in the fitness area and when I turned up in the morning someone was using the area even though the floor was all wet. The Pilates class started late because the instructor had to ask the hotel to come and clean and dry the floor.. I expected the hotel to be making sure this area was dry prior to use of Pilates as it was a general use area for fitness for all guests. However the room was beautiful and staff super friendly.

I would definitely recommend this property. Everything was great. The staff was always kind and helpful. The facility was always clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Our room was always clean when we returned from our activities and smelled so good. We always felt safe and they had staff on duty all night monitoring the facility. The restaurant had the best food we ate on our whole trip. It was absolutely delicious and the waiter was fantastic. There is not one thing I can say negative. This place is top quality.

My stay at Hotel Bardo was absolutely amazing! The property is stunning — every corner feels so serene and beautifully designed. The atmosphere is relaxing and luxurious without feeling pretentious. The staff were beyond accommodating and genuinely friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. And the food — incredible! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From breakfast to dinner, everything exceeded my expectations. Overall, it was such a memorable experience. I can’t wait to come back — highly recommend Hotel Bardo to anyone looking for the perfect mix of comfort, style, and exceptional service!

I stayed at this hotel and was completely disappointed with the service. From the moment I checked in, the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. The front desk took forever to assist me, and when I finally got to my room, it wasn’t even properly cleaned — there were stains on the sheets and a bad smell in the air. When I called downstairs to ask for help, it took over an hour for anyone to respond, and the person who came up acted like it was an inconvenience. On top of that, the amenities advertised online were either broken or unavailable. For the price I paid, I expected at least decent hospitality, but this experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay here again.

Upon arrival my bestie and I were greeted and our luggage taken to our villa. Everything was cutesy and nice. Employees were friendly. My other bestie was due to come the next day. About day 3 when all 3 girls were staying in the room, we received a WhatsApp text that we have stained towels and robes with makeup and that it would be a 750 pesos charge. This was alarming because makeup is washable and I’m talking a few spots here and there. I told the concierge Fernando that I was coming to the front desk to rectify the issue. When I was getting ready to go have a chat, I received another text that the linens were washed and the “stains” have been removed. This place is very money hungry and as minorities, we expected more from them. The last day, while my friends and I wee at the airport, I received another text that a robe was missing. So now we are being accused of being thieves. My response was to check with the housekeeper as she took linens, robes and towels the day before(the robes were only used on one day). I did not receive a text back. My deduction from this is that this place is very money hungry. My friends and I were having a great time prior to being accused of “staining robes, towels and linen” the being accused of stealing. All in all, bring your own towels, pillowcases, and robes if you want to stay at this villa.
