Thank you for providing additional details about your recent stay.We want to clarify that our information sheet explicitly advises guests to utilize the after-hours number in case of emergencies, which would have been suitable for the issues you encountered. We understand that you mentioned not seeing this information on the sheet, and we regret any confusion.Throughout your stay, multiple avenues were available for assistance, including our office and restaurant staff. We regret not being informed earlier to promptly address any concerns.After your departure, I spoke with the housekeepers who recall providing thorough service, including changing bed linens, and were eager to discuss any misunderstandings. However, you had left immediately after receiving your 50% "partial" refund of over 300.We sincerely regret that despite our efforts to promptly address any concerns upon your departure, your experience was reflected in a 1-star review. We genuinely aimed to rectify any issues and ensure your satisfaction. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we hope to have the opportunity to improve and exceed your expectations in the future.

Hi Allan Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback, the restaurant is managed separately to the motel, however it is noted on our website and booking confirmations that it is closed public holidays and sundays - if in doubt for future bookings I suggest calling ahead and checking if in doubt to avoid disappointment

Good Morning HannahThanks for taking the time to leave your review. We did apologize and mentioned that we would be spraying the next day as our attempt at mitigating the problem as it was late afternoon by the time you had informed us which is when we were first made aware, unfortunately, the hot humid weather we have had the last couple of days does attract ants, which is exactly why we were going to spray as soon as we were made aware of the issue. The very first thing you asked for was a refund, we then offered you another room, which you initially accepted and then declined. I suspect this review is more about the fact that when you arrived the weather was not that great and you did not want to stay / pay the cancelation fee as the very first thing you had asked for was your money back instead of allowing us to rectify the issue - the fact you declined the second room, shows that you didn't want to stay here regardless and there was nothing we could do to change that. There is a reason motels take full payment at the time of booking, and that is to prevent guests from showing up and then changing their mind on staying last minute After you had left we went and checked the room and there might have been a few ants which we were able to get rid of, but not to the extent you had made out. Have a fantastic new year! and once again thanks for leaving your feedback
