We spent a wonderful 10 days here in August 2018. Only negative was the check in process was tedious. Fantastic friendly staff, lovely food and a magnificent villa. Spent a lot of time at the pool and pool bar. Nice and close to Ubud.

Tranquil setting close to everything
Pros:Location and setting gave a feel of being in the middle of a rain Forrest while being in walking distance to restaurants and shopping
Cons:There are stairs everywhere at this resort so if you aren't comfortable going up and downstairs this resort would not be for you
From arrival to departure we were impressed with not only the peacefulness and convenience of the location but the attentiveness of the staff nothing was too much trouble or indeed an effort of any kind
Had a facial at the beauty spa it was amazing as was the complementary yoga
Will certainly return

A tranquil slice of paradise
Everything from staff, through to facilities to food was exceptional. Close enough to Ubud to walk, far enough to avoid the noise and traffic. Loved every second and will be back.

A home away from home
Amazing hotel and excellent staff. The complimentary breakfast buffet is outstanding. Great location and shuttle service to Ubud is very handy. We booked the cheapest room which wasn't great but got an upgrade to a terrace room after I mentioned we weren't happy. Overall fantastic experience.

A perfect blend of old and new Ubud
Pros:The rooms, staff and the food.
Uma by Como is a perfect blend of tranquil small hotel with modern facilities and great food. The rooms and villas are light, have comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and are spread around the hotel gardens. The food is excellent - breakfast, room service and at the Uma Cucina restaurant. There are healthy options is you want to create your own 'retreat' with daily yoga, raw foods etc. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Pros:Beautiful and serene surroundings, if you want to relax this is the place. Staff were absolutely perfect. Every single person went above and beyond
Cons:A few noisy bugs and wildlife around and sometimes in your room. Staff are happy to remove them though no fuss
