A lovely hotel in a beautiful location with excellent staff and facilities. Unfortunately waterfall cafe area shown on website is broken and closed and repair works going on during the day is very noisy, so was impossible to relax at hotel. Would have been good to have been notified beforehand or even upon arrival so we could plan ahead. We were offered free trips outside hotel, which was nice but our goal was to relax at the 10/10 Expedia hotel we had booked. Staff were very good, food was great, service was excellent. Only let down was the noise which the team could do nothing about, even though even though works were on their own hotel, which was a shame given they could have communicated and planned better.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of Ubud jungle, 20 mins away from the centre. This would have been 5 star had the waterfall area was open. We was disappointed that the maintenance was not cascaded to us before we arrived or booked. It’s a key feature

What a beautiful hotel in the jungle! Staff were so friendly and welcoming! Breakfast options were extensive and tasty and facilities are excellent. Quiet area around the hotel but easy to get to Ubud centre and many tourist attractions if this is what youre after. I hooe to visit again soon!

We stayed a week for our 25th anniversary. Perfect for that occasion. It would be inappropriate with children, infirm or elderly - stone stairs to anywhere, lots of quiet, mostly honeymooners. The staff made an effort to learn our names/circumstances and seemed sincerely invested in our good stay. Shout out to Mira. All day long, the cooked-to-order western and eastern food was amazing (the best/cheapest filet mignon you will find), and we especially enjoyed the included luxurious afternoon tea time 330-430. Our room with private pool felt extremely romantic. We partook of the expert spa massages, mani-pedi and facials. The dance or singing shows every evening added to the romance. Note it is geographically close to downtown Ubud for the shopping, temples, restaurants and chaos, but it is a harrowing and slow 20-30 minute ride that significantly messed with our peace from the place. We only went once. The rice terrace walk was not challenging but is along a road that is a bit too close to traffic. The morning yoga was a mix of stretching and meditation, inadequate if you are a serious yogi. We did our own yoga on the beautiful yoga platform. Kayon Resort was the perfect place to unwind, retreat and recharge. We joked that it felt like the garden of Eden before the fall. One of a kind experience!!!

The Kayon Resort and Spa was a fantastic and relaxing place to stay. The staff were unbelievably friendly and attentive! The resort is a little smaller in size which allows for a personal touch. You get to know the staff over the period of your stay, which is nice. Thank you to The Kayon staff for providing such an awesome experience!

If you are looking for a private getaway that is only a 10 min grab ride away from ubuds monkey forest, elephant sanctuary, shopping markets, and temples look no further. The massage was amazing and food and drinks were very good as well. The pool was a great temperature and they have many options for breakfast included in the stay which you can have in your room or at the restaurant. The hospitality was nothing like I’ve experienced in the USA. Genuinely 10/10 experience and special thank you to pinky for finishing it all off sending me flowers to my next stay in uluwatu.
