The hotel was centrally located next to the train station and shopping. The rooms were decent but the beds were 2 twins put together on squeaky old frames and was uncomfortable. The pillows were also lumpy. The staff was nice and it was a plus to have fresh fruit for breakfast.

The hotel is a registered historical building, so the owners are restricted in what they can do. If you want a traditional Swiss hotel, then this is the place for you. The furnishings are in keeping with the traditional style. It is in a convenient place for West station and buses, and for the amenities and shops of Interlaken. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I was with my wife and my child in double bed room in July. Positive Good location for transportation, view good, breakfast okay, staff good, balcony view mountain good, room clean okay, restaurants nearby Negative no iron in hotel (even we asked in lobby), window screen ripped, hair dryer not working, very old building air circulation is not good so felt hot, no ac in room (but fan there), not convenient for family with baby/child

The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable! Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing some renovations during our stay which caused some lengthy waits for the only elevator. Overall, the property is a great place to stay and very close to the train station.
