Terrific stay at The Lucerne. Excellent service, the staff was exceptional, everyone we came in contact with at the hotel was fantastic.

We were disappointed with the room allocated to us, as the wallpaper was peeling of the walls, there was huge crack in the shower tray and the carpet was torn and taped. We asked for another room, which we got and it was much better. The staff were really great about it and everything else. It's a pity the bar in the lobby area is not open now as it was when we visited a few years ago. It's a good hotel, but needs to be brought up to a better standard.
