There was no information about parking during reservation. Once reserved and no opportunity to cancel, I started getting email that parking is FC/FS and could be offsite, 1 mile away, however shuttle will be provided. Guest should have at least 1 spot for car if they are guest at the hotel regardless if there’s a fee and not inconvenient them to park the car a mile away. Then we were told 35$ to park the car offsite. Seriously?? Totally unacceptable.

Parking was an inconvenience. 2 hours before we checked in we found out we had to park off site and be shuttled. If we had known this before we arrived we would have been able to plan accordingly or choose a different place to stay. Our shuttle consistently ran behind which made us late. We waited at the hotel for 40 minutes since they don’t have a schedule which also caused us to be 10 minutes over our parking time and have to pay an extra fee. There was no map or thorough directions given for where pick up spots were. We were three girls alone in the dark in in a new place with no idea where we could be picked up and the hotel couldn’t provide any help. Needless to stay we will not be returning. We would rather spend an extra $100 and stay somewhere for parking.

This was an immaculate facility. The breakfast was good. The rooms were spacious. My only complaint and it’s a significant one is that there was no indication when we were parking that there would be an expensive parking fee. You learn this information pretty much after you park your car. The person who checked us in just had us sign something with regard to our parking, but made no mention of a parking fee. It is $45 a day during ski season and otherwise $35 a day. When we tried to communicate with the manager or desk people, they were defensive and I would say a little condescending. Anyway, as mentioned, the hotel is really good. I think the staff needs to do a better job communicating and treating their guests like guests. If somebody’s paying over 250 bucks for a room, it’s not about the parking it’s about the principle of not communicating it. Again, otherwise the hotel is very clean and highly recommended. The staff can do a better job.

It was a lovely hotel. My only regret is that I did not have any money to tip the hotel cleaning staff for doing our hotel room. Please let them know I feel bad about that. They work so hard and I do appreciate them. Karen
