The hotel is within walking distance of the nearest metro station Xativa. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean upon arrival.

Staff allowed me to check in early, which was really nice. Unfortunately while the room was large and pleasant, it was one floor up from the main street and really loud. Around 10pm I went to the reception to ask to change, and was told there were no other rooms to move to. The receptionist said it would soon get quieter, but this was untrue, both because of the street and the fact he was talking and laughing loudly with a guest. I checked and discovered it was also untrue that there was not another room to move to and went back down to remonstrate. He then changed excuse and said he would not be able to rent out my room anymore. I explained, that in fact he could as it would just mean emptying the litter bin as I hadn't use the bed. Fortunately, a colleague agreed to switch me with the caveat that the other room was far more basic. I took it as it was quieter, but when I suggested the next day that the hotel split the difference in price, they refused. The breakfast isn't particularly great and in an area known for producing oranges, they serve disgusting juice.

The hotel is in an excellent location! You can walk to many attractions and restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful! If you have a room facing the plaza, just be aware that it will get the afternoon sun and the room can get warm so just have the curtains drawn.

Tired Room, Great Location

Positives, Location fantastic, lovely staff and clean. If booking as a family I would go for the exterior rooms and pay a little more as the interior room (201) we stayed in was small and tired. Bathroom looked like it had been installed a good 20 years ago. If I am honest I found the pictures that Hotels.com has used pretty misleading. They all show big rooms with modern bathrooms. As you will see from the pictures taken this wasn’t what we were offered. As £330 a night it was very overpriced. I did ask the hotel if we could move but no availability. Friends stayed in an exterior room and it was big and modern bathroom, so I expect that the hotel is slowly renovating its rooms. Made me realise not to trust booking site and do further research before the next trip.

Good hotel in a great location

Hotel was centrally located in the heart of the city and easy to find, 5 mins walk up from the metro station straight from the airport. Best thing about this hotel was the breakfast and the staff - especially the girls who worked on the reception. Bags could be stored after checkout if you had a late flight too.

his place is an absolute dump. The only good thing about it is the location—it’s fantastic. Beyond that, everything else is a disappointment. The hotel is dirty, the rooms are small, and even though the front desk staff are polite and try to help, switching rooms doesn’t improve anything—they’re all in the same poor condition. I’ve been using Expedia for years, but after this experience, I’ll be booking elsewhere. It’s honestly unbelievable that Expedia would rate this property as “excellent.” That kind of rating is completely misleading. You really need to inspect the hotels you promote before labeling them so highly. This one was an absolute letdown from start to finish.

The hotel's location was excellent and walkable to the city's main attractions. Although we expected art deco bedrooms, we found ours not restful or condusive to sleep with abstract paintings of a bleeding bull and bullfighter. Staff were pleasant but the late night street noise below, especially Saturday, prevented a good night's sleep. The lift is far too small for the size of the hotel.

We liked that this hotel is in a cool tourist district so we could walk easily to various sights. The hotel staff is bilingual which makes it easy to communicate with them in English.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casual Vintage Valencia. The hotel is set in an old building right in the center, so everything is within walking distance. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade, and the view from our room was just perfect. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which added to the charm. The place itself has a cozy, slightly quirky vibe that makes it fun and memorable. The king bed was very comfortable, and waking up to that view was a highlight. A small tip: skip their breakfast. There are plenty of great cafés and bakeries just around the corner, so you’ll get a much more authentic start to your day outside. Also, don’t expect a minibar or fridge in the room—though honestly, with the location and comfort, it didn’t feel like a big deal.
