Nice retro style hotel, good ambiance, central location, good breakfast, well-cleaned and with nice amenities. Will be a huge disappointment if you get an inside-facing room with a window opening into the dark atrium.

The staff at this hotel are lovely and welcoming. The hotel is in an excellent central location and is beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, lovely selection and also pretty much whatever you want cooked at your request. The bar is very relaxing with a great atmosphere. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Nothing bad to say. Enjoyed everything.

I visited Valencia from Canada and stayed at NH collection for 4 nights. It was a very pleasant experience, breakfast was very high quality and staff were super friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious and comfortable and even on my first 2 hours of arrival to my room, they brought a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift. I will definitely go back there again!

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Staff were very accommodating to our needs. We requested a twin bedded room and although there wasn’t one available on arrival, they moved us the next day. First room was small, dark and very warm so we appreciated the upgrade of a bigger, brighter room. Breakfast was lovely with great service.

Great location, delicious breakfast with many made to order hot items, and excellent staff. The room was cosy, a bit small for a superior room, but it was comfortable and nicely decorated.

We loved our stay at NH Collection Valencia Colon! The location was so convenient and walkable to all the historical sites and restaurants. And there was plenty of shopping nearby too. The staff were amazing and treated us like royalty. We received sweet treats, wine and even room diffusers when we commented on how lovely the hotel's signature scent was. I would 100% recommend and am looking forward to coming back. (Tip: Request a room that's not overlooking the central courtyard)

First the good: Valencia is a beautiful city with plenty to do. Hotel is excellently located. The Lobby, Piano Bar and Rooftop Bar are beautiful. Staff in the Bars are really friendly and polite. The OK: We got an email from the hotel two days before we were due to arrive, to check-in online. It only let one of us check-in. Thought we might have got a map or some info on the City when we checked in. Because we are VIP Expedia we should have got a bottle of wine (we got a half bottle) and a possible room upgrade (non was offered). There was a single stool in the room, so we couldn't sit and chat to each other. We got a free bottle of water the first day and one other day. There was only one beer glass and one wine glass. There were two different sized tea cups. There was no book in the room to tell you about the hotel facilities and services. The not good: Bathroom needs an upgrade (see photos). Used the slide bar/ handheld shower head one morning. This flooded the bathroom floor. It clearly wasn't he first time this had happened. the door jamb was rotten from previous water damage. The water wet the carpet outside the bathroom (clearly not the first time). The maid turned the AC onto the highest temperature possible to dry it out. Our room felt like a furnace when we returned in the afternoon.
