Staff were friendly enough. The room was not very clean, shower was dirty in bottom corners, what appeared to be an old shrivelled orange peel was on floor, windows were very dirty. Was noisy with the pub downstairs but also was night of fireworks, so it's hard to say whether this is the norm. Convenient location, very close to English Bay, with a lot of food options close by, the pub brunch was really good. Not the hotel's fault but Expedia listed the location as having a pool, which it does not, it appears that Expedia has updated this now. The room was pricey for what it was, so not sure I'd choose to stay again.

The location of this hotel is great, right on the beach. Do keep in mind there are a few bars on this street so we had a lot of outside noise. The hotel itself is quite run down and our room was outdated- the toilet couldn’t flush properly I had to open the cover and manually pull the lever up to flush each time. The room was also quite dirty- dirt in the shower and the bathroom. ALSO there was a MOUSE in our room!!!!! They did handle it well and moved us immediately but once you see a mouse you never feel safe again!!!!! I wasn’t offered a comped room or anything. The staff is friendly but the hotel itself needs updating urgently. We will not be coming back to this hotel after everything.

Room was pretty small but cozy, right on the strip so very busy on warm hot summer day, very close to a beach. Recommend to try get the 4th floor, do not recommend the first floor as you can hear pple outside and if close to the elevator can hear that too… a lot of upgrades- rooms are very nice

The map takes you to the wrong entrance- other than that it was a great place. Especially appreciated the water availability for water bottles. Directly across from beach access and walking path with lots of food choices. The window seat is a nice addition.

Enjoyable

Overall good experience, very convenient location with easy access to public transportation and Stanley Park. The service desk was professional and friendly. A special shout-out to Emrita for her kindness. Room service was very thorough. The hotel overall is a little worn but I will stay there again upon return to Vancouver.
