Sylvia Hotel has a lovely vintage feel, with a beautiful view of English Bay. The restaurant in the hotel is warm and inviting, with exceptional servers and good food. The area around the hotel is very quiet and serene, with a walking path along the water at its doorstep. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect hotel to stay at for a weekend getaway. Easy walking access to the seawall and Stanley Park, or in to downtown - lots of food and coffee nearby. The room was great, very comfy beds, the staff were excellent and you cannot beat the views from the restaurant.

Good location. Friendly staff. Old building but everything in the room was in good condition. Room cleaned everyday. Will be perfect if offering complimentary coffee in the lobby. Parking underground is easy possibly due to winter off seasons, with reasonable price for the downtown location.

A lovely character hotel. Friendly, efficient staff. Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Good dining room, but close to many dining options as well. Great location across from the beach and plenty of walking paths as well.
