We had a great stay at Ai Cavalieri for our first time in Venice. The location was great - super close / walking distance to a lot of the main sights. The area and streets around it were also lovely and made it a pleasure walking to and from the hotel. The rooms were classic Venetian style but very well kept and clean. The bathroom in our room was INCREDIBLE and the shower was one of the best I've had in any hotel, including 5 stars in major cities. The shower head and water pressure were elite. Also, the breakfast was awesome. Solid spread, great juices, and attentive service. One of the most convenient things about this hotel is that it has its own dock. One thing to note thought - while the hotel can arrange for a water taxi from the airport in advance, it's more expensive than if you do it yourself. We used Consorzio Motoscafi Venezia.

Fantastic hotel

This hotel is amazing. A former palace from the 16th century, remodeled in 2015 to convert it in a fantastic hotel. Beautiful, spacious rooms with atmosphere of a real palace. Great location and good quality breakfast.
