Great location and service

The staff were very accommodating and arranged for a water taxi to pick us up at the cruise terminal. They also stored our luggage as we had an early arrival and gave us a GREAT room with a wonderful outdoor terrace with a view onto the Grand Canal. They made a dinner recommendation and made a reservation for us. They also arranged for a water taxi for us to the airport for our departure. We truly enjoyed every part of our one night stay!

Lovely hotel on the canal

We loved our stay at Canal Grande Hotel. Wonderful location oversetting the canal in a quieter part of town. We enjoyed having breakfast on the private deck on the canal. Hotel had a lot of character and beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great hotel. Good location, walking distance from the train station. Room is spacious with beautiful Venizien decorative. Staff is friendly, helpful. This is the 1st. time I am visiting Venice. Staying 3 nights. I saw photos on the Internet when I booked, but didn't expect much. Most of the time, photos are better; however, in this case what you see is what you get. Thanks 👍!

This is a great hotel option for Venice. We enjoyed the quiet area around the hotel. The staff are amazing and were helpful with all of our questions. The train station is a 6 minute walk.

A lovely hotel on the canal

We loved this hotel, the staff who were so friendly and helpful and our lovely spacious room on the top floor had the most gorgeous view of the bridge and the canal from our window. We chose it for its location on the canal, a balcony above the water to enjoy breakfast and we had tables on the piazza .. such a lovely hotel. The area is also great to wonder around, not so busy with Italians in the cafes and not just tourists…the staff was exceptionally welcoming and happy to recommend boat stops and restaurants around. We will come back!

We stayed in a room that was accessible from outside the hotel on the main floor. It was great as we didn’t have to enter the hotel at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable . We also walked there after parking our car in the parking garage. It’s about a 30 min walk to Piazza San Marco.

We absolutely love the property! They give us a free drink ticket upon our arrival and a free tour of the Moreno glass shop! It’s by restaurants that many of the locals go to that have amazing food and a reasonable price! It’s close to the train station and not far from the bus station (the bus will take you to the airport). Only downfall is it’s about a 25 to 30 minute walk to Saint Mark Square and where some of the nicer shops are located. However, we didn’t mind as we enjoyed the walk!

Nice staying on the canal! Staff was very nice and accommodating. My room was very pretty but small…maybe because I stayed on the first floor, which was a plus!! Great area!!
