We paid the most for this 4 star hotel and it was expensive for our stay. I expected to have a cleaner room and more security around my stay. We had a friend meet us at the hotel and the front staff willingly gave my room number away. As a female traveler, safety is my 1st Priority. Secondly, in my first evening of showering the shower had hair floating from the drain because it was backed up. I didn’t even wash my hair so I knew it wasn’t mine. Overall? Hotel is old and dingy. For the price you pay, the only good thing is location. Everything else was not worth the value and price.

It was in a nice location, easy access to San Marco as well as Campo Santo Stefano which was nice with a great restaurant there. The restaurant selection was great near the hotel, my favorite was Ristorante Da Raffaele. The staff at the hotel was great, breakfast was great and I loved how you go out the back of the hotel and there's water taxi there to go to the train station or airport

Beautiful hotel

Great staff from check in to restaurant to carrying our bags direct to the water taxi. Smallish room but adequate. Nice breakfast woth ample choice. Gym facility small but adequate. Nice bar near the entrance to the hotel. Good location close to San Marco and high end shops.

I have to say, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The staff were also beyond amazing. They remembered us with quick antidotes and the breakfast buffet staff remembered my coffee order every morning. It was my daughter’s birthday while we were there, however I did not mention it. Don’t know how they found out, but we came back to our room and there was chilled wine compliments of the hotel waiting. Beyond amazing. I would give this hotel 20 out of 10 if I could. It was recommended by a friend, so I hope my post encourages others to stay as well. Enjoy, you’ll love it as much as we did.

The Saturnia is an “old school” hotel. It has been forever since we have stayed at a full service hotel. The location is great, walkable to all major tourist destinations.

Very cool that the taxi from the train station pulled right up to the back of the hotel. Check in was smooth and the staff go the extra mile. At the wonderful breakfast buffet the wait staff remember your order, welcome you with warmth and set your day off to a great start. We received lunch and dinner recommendations which were excellent for our larger party of 6 and they staff also arranged a free private water taxi to Murano with glass blowing demonstration, which my teens really enjoyed. Close for walking to St Mark’s and the Rialto bridge. A wonderful experience! We stayed in the quad room and it was roomy and very comfortable. Exceeded my high expectations!

A gem of a hotel!

Such a great hotel! The front desk staff are excellent, all friendly and helpful. The hotel and our bedroom were beautiful and the rooftop deck was such a nice bonus to the hotel experience. Watching the sunset from there was beautiful. Everything was in very good condition. The daily breakfast was wonderful! The breakfast buffet was delicious with an unending variety of options. The hotel is in a good location and is easy to find. It’s on a street with a lot of foot traffic during the day but quiet at night. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the vaporetto and Saint Marks Square.

Beautiful hotel and unforgettable trip

Hotel Saturnia is a unique and beautiful hotel to stay in Venice, it located in a very convenient place for us to visit all the interesting points, it also surrounded with name brand stores, unique local shops and nice restaurants, yet very quite even in the day time, short walking distance to San Marco Square and water bus stations, the breakfast was wonderfully served, I love their testing coffee, delicious croissants and fresh hand squeezed orange juice, the staffs were amazing and friendly, one morning I needed fresh coffer to bring to my room before breakfast served time, the lady greeted me at the door, and go out the way helped me to bring coffee along with croissants to my room, so appreciate her service. The manager - Alexander heard I had questions about my room when I checked in, he immediately solved my concern, the room we stayed Quadruple room was spacious and luxury, it was a plus to this unforgettable 4 days 3 nights trip in Venice. Though internet connection was not something high speed, even such as point makes this hotel charming. Here, at every moment I felt I am in a real historical space. All the staffs were friendly and kind. Their breakfast was nothing but awesome. The location is the heart of this historic town. This is the loveliest hotel in the loveliest town in this world.
