10/10. Great property and great location. Our water taxi from the airport dropped off 100ft away from the front door. Our host was great! She reached out to me the morning we arrived and checked us in early, which was very much welcomed! When we met her from the boat, she did a full tour of the property and explained everything. We had 12 in our family group and stayed in both the 3rd and 4th floor apartments. They can be separate or connected through an additional door so it worked perfectly. The bathrooms and air conditioning were wonderful.Everything is you need is what I would call “Venice close.” Meaning it’s close distance-wise, but the maze of corridors and bridges will make the walk seem longer. From this property you can reach any part of Venice in 30 minutes walking, if you know the route. Would definitely stay here again!

Stay was fine. The furnishings of the apartment were quite worn and in some cases stained. Room sizes were good and bathrooms were updated and very nice. It would have been nice if there had been some basic supplies provided such as dish soap, sponge, filters for coffee. We had no idea where the grocery store was.

Amazing location on the grand canal

We loved our time in Venice at this VRBO. Amazing location with incredible views. Close to nearby restaurants and walking distance to so much more. What an amazing city to explore and this is the perfect home base for any group or family. Host was great too.

Misleading

We arrived to what felt like a construction site. A sensor-timed light eventually goes on to reveal the main entrance that was filled with tons and tons of construction materials. We thought we entered the wrong building! Disappointing to say the least. We had the top 2 floors of the walk-up building. The walk-up was never disclosed in the original listing. As we were traveling with a large group of 12 adults and children, our load-in took several trips up and down the four flights of stairs. We would have never booked knowing that in advance. That sensor light I mentioned previously, is on a short timer; so as you make your way up the steps, the light goes off. At night, it's not only scary it's so dangerous! The apartment itself was large, very vintage and clean. There was a water taxi stop directly in front that was extremely convenient.
