An Excellent Experience

We had traveled to Victoria for a medical appointment and to celebrate my wife's 80th birthday. We stayed overnight so that we could go out to dinner and relax. We had dinner at the attached "Jade Garden". The highlight of the dinner was when the cute serving robot came over to our table, played "Happy Birthday" and sang to my wife. The meal was first class. I have had Chinese food all over the world including trips to Hong Kong and China. Our meal compared favorably to the best I have experienced. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. It featured a kitchenette complete with a frig, stove-top, coffeemaker, sink, and microwave. We were given a ground-level room close to the reception area which was convenient because we both have mobility issues. Parking was free and close too the entrance. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. All and all we had an enjoyable stay.

Not quite as good as our usual stays at this hotel

We frequently use this hotel for business and pleasure due to it's location, spacious rooms and the fact it is a really good value. There is also a very good Chinese restaurant in the hotel. On this particular trip, there was a very loud verbal battle in the hall outside our room late at night. That spoiled a potentially good rest. When called, the front desk was quick to respond and deal with the situation.
