The room was comfortable and spacious, ours had a separate seating room and a king bed. The hotel was nice but in need of updates. Breakfast was included and there were lots of options. The only disappointment was that parking was not included if you booked through Expedia but was included if you booked at the hotel directly.

Staff was very courteous and helpful, would definitely stay at this hotel again. We also had Scottish (evening) tea at the attached Pendrey which was outstanding. The hotel is central and within east walking distance of downtown Victoria, the Royal BC museum, the legislature, Chinatown, the harbour, and many excellent restaurants. My only criticism of our room is that the larger suite we booked for 5 adults had not yet been renovated, so we often had to move furniture or unplug lamps to find outlets to charge our devices. The two-floor unit also could have benefited from an upstairs powder room. We may not book that suite again but we would return to the hotel.

Rom was just okay they definitely need to do upgrades on this Hotel. Its showing a lot or wear and tear. Walls are thin so we could here the neighbouring rooms quite clearly. Hallways need some work carpeting, doirs to roomscare in rough shape its just showing its age. Breakfast was adequate but not special. Front desk staff were a bit off hand to put it bluntly. I would not stay there again.
