We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room (Room #3) with two double beds, a balcony, and a partial sea view for a brief overnight stay in Vieques, and it was perfect for our group of four. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The beach was just a short walk across the street, and we had ocean views from both the rooftop and our room. The beds were very comfortable, and parking was convenient, with options both in front of the building and directly across the street. They offer snacks and breakfast in the morning, and the location was ideal, with numerous restaurants and bars just a few blocks away, easily within walking distance. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever return to Vieques!

Owners Amanda and Todd went out if their way to make our trip amazing! They were super friendly and accommodating. We loved the horses who stopped by daily and enjoyed “sticky bun Sunday!” What a pleasure to stay with them. Highly recommend!

It is a clean, spacious and well maintained hotel. Location is perfect as it is in walking distance to the BioBay tour meeting point and in just 10min of walk there is a wonderful restaurant Rancho Choli. Amanda the owner is very helpful. She answered our questions and offered to arrange a taxi as we had a very early morning ferry back to the main island. We wish we could stay there for longer.

The Vieques Guesthouse is a charming place to stay in Esperanza for a few days. The place is very welcoming, and host Amanda provided great advice about adventures to try. Beach towels provided, beach chairs and coolers available. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Vieques Guest House! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the stunning island. The location couldn't be better—just a short walk to the beach and local attractions. Amanda, the owner, was very pleasant. I didn’t get her name, but the woman at the store’s register was great and very personable. It was nice having the store in the lobby for snacks, drinks, and breakfast is the morning. There are tables to eat your meal and free coffee is provided. You can rent beach chairs for $5 a day. We also rented a cooler. There is no fee for borrowing beach towels. There’s an outdoor shower to rinse sand off before going to your room. There are many roosters in the area that will wake you up early. I was used to them by the third day. Bring earplugs if you think this may be an issue for you. The bed was my only major gripe - not comfortable. Everyone in my party had the same complaint about the beds. There were four of us, in two separate rooms, with four separate beds. The lobby, including the front desk, is closed from 11am-2pm, and closes for the day at 5pm. The hotel is walkable, but a little further down from the main strip of restaurants, etc. I don’t mind walking, but after a long day, I wished I were closer. My group did not have a car and we were fine. Coconut beach is across the street. There were lots of lovely wild horses and a couple of beach swings. Beautiful Sun Bay beach is not too far. There are a list of recommended taxi drivers in the lobby. I hope this review helps you.

This was an amazing place to stay! The owner provided so many great suggestions that made the trip perfect! The roof top deck had beautiful sunsets and creates a perfect environment for guests to interact with each other somewhat like a bed and breakfast. Plenty of privacy if that’s what you are looking for too. We will be back and have a longer stay. Four nights would have been perfect to see all the beaches and explore the island. Definitely rent a vehicle to get around. If I could have given 10 stars I would have!

The Vieques guest house was great and we highly recommend it for your stay in Vieques. The room was clean and comfortable and the outdoor spaces, balcony and roof, have a great view to the ocean and were overall very pleasant. Amanda was proactive in providing information immediately after we placed the reservation and through our stay, with good recommendations for activities and tours that directed us to the best Bioluminisence tour and a wonderful snorkeling tour. Overall one of the highlights of our trip.
