You are paying for the location on Atlantic Ave oceanfront. I was expecting more amenities such as a larger pool with wait service, toiletry kit and robes for use in room. Property was very clean but don’t expect Hyatt Regency amenities. Pool was small, limited seating, free breakfast was just mediocre but replenished constantly and the only parking is valet which was quick and courteous. Staff was friendly.

We paid for an upgrade to penthouse floor and our toilet didn’t flush no water flowing they came to fix it but the next day it didn’t flush again.. We checked out that morning told them about it and reimbursed for the upgrade. That’s it nothing else for the hassle of that..

It was right on the beach which was a big plus for my family. The hotel its self is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful! I had Bree help me secure an early morning uber! They go above and beyond to make ur stay nice!

We chose this hotel because we wanted someplace close to the Sports complex in VA and at the beach. This location is oceanfront, and we had our room facing the ocean with a balcony. Our room and public places were clean. There are plenty of restaurants and shops; all walkable. Right in front of the hotel on the beach is a playground with obstacle courses like rings, ropes, different height bars and parallel bars which was perfect for my little gymnasts, and a big bonus when they got tired of playing in the water. The boardwalk is perfect for strolling or jogging. We went in the first week of June so it wasn't too packed. I can imagine the whole area being packed and busy as the season gets hotter. The stay came with free breakfast which is always a plus; could maybe have more variety of foods though to choose from, but did the job nonetheless. There is valet parking which was great and efficient and inexpensive and we love the idea of tipping in the tip container (we never seem to know how much is appropriate to tip for valet but this way made it less awkward?) Overall the staff we came into contact with were all helpful and polite. This oceanfront hotel is much much more affordable compared to the ones we've stayed at in CA. If ever in VA beach again we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel doors are extremely heavy and make a horrible sound when they closed. This was very annoying late at night. There was sand on the floor in the room upon arrival. We had not even been on the beach yet, and we could feel it on the floor when we walked, I would suggest providing a swifter type item that can be left in the room for guest to swifter the sand away from floor.Other than these two things, the stay was wonderful. The complementary breakfast was amazing,
