I enjoyed my stay at country INN on the way back home from Sturgis. Stuffs very friendly, room clean, location close by shopping area and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Smelly

The room I was given smelled strongly of poop. Exactly like someone had just used the bathroom. I requested a different room and was first offered the room right next to it. I then requested a room on a different floor and Jenna was very kind to find me a room on the first floor which smelled much better. However, the entire place felt stark- no carpeting in the rooms, very little art - just really cold. The room key didn’t work in the outside door that was near my room so I had to go to the main entrance every time I entered. There was coffee in the room but no coffee pot!? I will say that the bed was comfortable but that was the only good thing. I will not stay at a Country Inn ever again.

A surprise!

Great price, property is nice (parking lot is a little worn), close to food, gas and perfect if you like to take walks. Easy access to Fwy. Front desk were very smiley but not much on the rest of staff. Worth a stay.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Person that was running the breakfast buffet was outstanding, really hustled. Would have gave 4 stars if the hot tub was working - had water and was hot but water did not circulate. Also needed to have towels stocked in pool area. Otherwise overall a great value.

Bad Experience!

Pool was out of towels. Front desk agent didn’t offer any towels and told me to go to my room and get towels. The following morning there was no coffee, just hot water. Eggs had bad flavor, potatoes undercooked and floating in water and the bacon was like rubber.

Wasn’t impressed

The keys didn’t work had to return to desk several times. Didn’t have extra towels “all in wash”. Went to breakfast no food no milk had to go out to eat. Staff dismissive and unresponsive.
