Always Happy at Summit

Clean, comfortable, well decorated rooms. Staff always super friendly and accommodating. Pool and hot tub well maintained, adjacent to a nice wooded area. This hotel is fantastic value, we stay several times a year.

One of the elevators was out of services during my entire 5 days stay. No notice or apology were made. It took a long time to get in the elevator, especially in the afternoon when people try to check in, go to pool and return from skiing. All guests using a small elevator. The room cleanliness is average. I noticed pill, gum, etc on the floor. The body soap dispenser was dripping and made the bathtub soapy. The freezer was set too warm and my food was melting in it. The front desk staff was friendly.

Amazing hotel at really central location. Super staff! They very very welcoming and made sure we were looked after. Complimentary gear storage and shuttle bus to the lift was a great addition to the stay.

Beautiful resort and great location!

We loved our stay. Free shuttle to the lifts, clos3 to grocery store and restaurants, daily room service and super friendly staff. Only problem was only one of two elevators in service the who,e two weeks we were there, and the small hot tub with no regulation on how long people stayed in it. Hard to do but maybe a few friendly signs everywhere to encourage people that if they need to sit on the edge to cool off then maybe it’s time to get out and maybe a max limit of 6.

Overall this property is not what I expected based on other reviews. One elevator was not working, the room was only in okay condition, the hot tub was extremely small and the hotel is a long walk to the lifts. I would definitely stay at several other properties before staying here.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The room was very clean and in great condition. The cleaning staff was courteous, helpful, and thorough -- exceptional during our stay. Nice shuttle service to the ski lifts. Very convenient to several great places to eat within a block of the hotel. The only 4/5 rating was due to one of two elevators out of service during all three days of our stay, often causing longer waits. Not a huge deal, as things need maintenance from time to time. Another note... If you have a taller vehicle (like one with a cargo box on top for your skis), you might exceed the height limit of the parking garage under the hotel. The parking garage under the library and museum has plenty of height clearance and just a short walk on Main St from the hotel. Thanks to the person at the front desk during out check-in for that advice.

A vey good stay

We were very happy with our one-night stay at Summit Lodge which was a last minute booking. We were particularly grateful that they allowed us to check in early (at round 12 noon instead of 4 pm to accommodate my 100-years old mother-in-law's need to take afternoon naps. We had a fabulous room on the top floor. The lodge is very close to Whistler village. The lemony drinks during the day and the candy corner in the afternoon are very nice gestures.

My stay at Summit Lodge was wonderful. The property’s location is very central, close to many shops and restaurants. The property is very well maintained and clean, but is also quietly tucked away from the main village stroll. Both the guest room and lobby is nicely furnished and decorated with boutique-hotel charm. The room came with a complimentary use of an iPad - that was brilliant. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend this property!

It was a cute, friendly hotel. Our fireplace didn't work, but as soon as we brought it to the Staff's attention they swapped it out, then and there. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great. The spa was also really lovely. It wasn't right in the village, but it was quiet.

We had a room with a queen bed and a sofa bed. The bed a bit small, but we managed. The toaster didn't work but as soon as we notified the reception desk they gave us a new one. The room was not ready when we arrived at 2pm, but we they put it on rush and called us when it was ready. Hot tub and the pool a bit small and crowded with kids mostly. Overall a very nice experience, these were just small details.

Great rooms equipped with kitchenette. Location is fabulous in a quiet area. Room was mostly clean but found someone’s takeout bag under the couch. Loved relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. Overall a wonderful stay!

The dedicated shuttle was really handy. It drops you off about 20 meters from the lift, which is as close as I’ve been to the lifts in years. Everyone was cool. I had a friendly conversation with everyone. The front desk, the janitor, the shuttle driver were all great. There is a coffee place close by and a slue of restaurants. They have a ski rental arrangement which I did not know about. I would check it out to avoid the hike up the hill.

Amazing hotel!!

Amazing facility! We stayed 5 nights in the studio with a bedroom. There were ample space and storage for 4 people (a couple and two teens). We all snowboarded and kept our gear in the room, even though there was complimentary storage at the reception. We loved the layout, the bedroom was very spacious with lots of shelves to put everything everywhere! Living room was also efficiently laid out for teens to have their own space for their luggage and gear. We love the heating options (3 heaters). The kitchen was also perfect. Just what is needed to prep quick breakfast or easy meals. The bathroom was also just what was needed. Most of all, we found that everything was very clean. Bed sheets and pillows were very comfortable. Staff from reception and cleaning crew were very nice too! It was our first time in Whistler and will definitely come back to this hotel.
