I stayed at Palm Bay resort 3 nights in July as a solo traveller and absolutely fell in love with the place. It's an amazing oasis where you can relax and recharge. The amenities were beautiful and clean, the staff were super friendly and the meals at the restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. Loved the sunset bar at the beach and happy hour cocktails. There is a lovely pool, spa and a gym. There is no wifi and no tv which was amazing. I stayed in the Hibiscus suite up in the treetops, it was unbelievable, very spacious with amazing ocean views from the balcony, the living room and the elevated bedroom! I did a few bushwalks and one of them took me up to a hill from where I could see the wide ocean, the bay and the resort and other islands, it was breathtaking. I will definitely go back to Palm Bay. I would highly recommend it to couples for a romantic getaway and to singles for a total mind and body reset.

Beautiful, peaceful resort. Pros: The little beach bungalows you stay in are just lovely. The sunsets are glorious, especially when watched from the Sunset Bar. There is plenty to do: You can swim, snorkel, bushwalk, paddle board, kayak, use the pool, have a spa treatment... Wildlife is everywhere which is a nice treat. The food in the restaurant is great. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Cons: You get eaten alive by sand flies, so make sure you invest in the insect repellent they sell there. It's not easy to get water either - they only sell small bottles, and they don't recommend drinking the tap water (it does smell a bit gross). I probably bought six of them a day. However, the staff will fill a jug of filtered water for you at the bar for you to take to your room if you ask.

All the staff were so friendly and very helpful, manager Teegan was great. Kept us informed during the Tropical Cyclone we had. Big shout out to the kitchen staff. Food was amazing.
