Lions Dive Resort has some great perks: amazing beach, lots of loungers, nearby restaurants, updated rooms, and comfortable beds. There were also a few things that could use improvement: customer service of staff (mainly at Hemingway- also issues with foreign objects in food), there is some noise late on nights where Hemingway has music so be aware, and the shower allows water to get all over the bathroom floor. The beach location with snorkeling outweighs the minor inconveniences here!

This was a great hotel to stay at for the 6 days we were in Chracao.It was very clean,safe to walk around, many restaurants to choose from and live music some nights if you wanted some night life.Overall, me and my husband having nothing bad to say about this hotel.

We enjoyed Curacao. The front desk staff at Lions Dive Resort were very friendly & accommodating. Our room was clean & had all we needed for our stay but the living room furniture looked old & had some stains on them. They put us in a room in the back of the resort & it was a bit dark for my liking. It wasn’t busy during our stay & I felt that if they had put us in a room that was brighter & maybe on the 2nd floor I would have liked it better. The staff at Hemingway restaurant were not friendly to us at all & made us feel uncomfortable & unwelcome to be there. We ended up eating lunch & dinner at other places in Mambo beach & had a much better experience & service outside our resort. The staff at Piazza were also very unfriendly. I’m not really sure what that was about. Because of the unfriendly staff at the restaurants I wouldn’t recommend friends or family to stay at Lions Dive.

We had a great stay at LionsDive! The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It is right next to Mambo Beach, which has a bunch of cute shops and several restaurants outside of the ones at the resort. We had a couple massage and the treatment was so relaxing. The beach is lovely and there were plenty of chairs to sit down and relax. The resort is also next to the little aquarium, (which offers a variety of activities) as well as a snorkeling and dive shop. The resort does offer a daily shuttle to both a grocery store and downtown Willemsted. It does pick up downtown fairly early, so you will need to take a cab back if you are going to dinner downtown. Taxis can get a little pricy, so if you want to explore different areas of the island, or go out to eat for dinner downtown, you will want to rent a car. Mambo beach and Hemmingway’s can get noisy some days of the week (we went during shoulder season, so it might vary), but it was very quiet by about 11pm. We didn’t have any issue with the noise and were surprised just how quiet it was most evenings. It was a very relaxing and lovely vacation :)

The LionsDive resort was absolutely beautiful!! The snorkeling here was the best of all the Caribbean islands I have been to. The lagoon off of the beach had almost a half a mile of rocks and reefs to snorkel and we spent hours in the water. The lounge chairs and cabanas on the beach were a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sun (and order a few drinks). The hotel rooms were very clean and nice and the staff were quick to help with anything we needed. One thing to note, you will need outlet converters or adapters if you are traveling from the US. The front desk had extra adapters we used but the voltage did not work with my curling iron however my hair straightener worked fine. Phones and everything else charged perfectly fine as well. There is a long walk with good shops/boutiques and restaurants with all different foods. I highly recommend Pizza Mare, we went a couple times because it was so delicious and came out quick. Overall, from talking with other travelers I think we made the right choice staying at the LionsDive, seemed to be the best in the area and we would definitely go back!!

LionsDive was awesome! Staff was very helpful. I forgot a charger for my phone and Sergio(at the front desk) brought me one from home the next day. Above and beyond. Our room was overlooking the beach and we could walk to several different restaurants and beaches. Fantastic trip overall and would h8ghly recommend!
