Luxurious room with a beautiful view located a short walk to the beach. Staff with phenomenal customer service! Great place to stay for vacay.

I would like to start by saying that the hotel itself is beautiful. The facilities are excellent, the property is well maintained, and the buffet food was consistently very good throughout our stay. The location and overall atmosphere made us excited for what should have been a wonderful vacation. Unfortunately, our experience was seriously affected by the poor customer service and the complete lack of resolution regarding a major issue with our room. When we arrived and were taken to our oceanfront room, we immediately noticed that the air conditioning was not working properly. We reported the problem to the front desk right away. Someone came to the room and supposedly fixed it, but the issue continued. We returned to the front desk multiple times to explain that the room was becoming unbearably hot, especially at night. At one point, I was told that we could be moved to another room, but only to a lower-category room than the oceanfront room that I had paid for. Naturally, I declined. If I paid for an oceanfront room, I should not be expected to accept a downgrade because the hotel could not provide the amenities that were advertised and included in my reservation. For the entire nine-day stay, the air conditioning never worked properly. We woke up in the middle of the night sweating and uncomfortable. Despite multiple complaints, the problem was never resolved. I specifically booked a room with air conditioning, and that is not what I received.
