Overall the stay was nice, although the construction was a little unsightly. The people in the room over us allowed their children to run and stomp most of the night.However, It did quiet down a bit after it was addressed by management. I’ve often wondered if staff takes those things into consideration when assigning rooms to patrons. As a child, I remember when we vacationed we were allowed to have fun but were reminded to be respectful because other people may not appreciate the noise.

Room I was given was not cleaned then they gave an another room and the door would not lock so had to get another room!!! Never offered me anything! Paid full price! And the construction ugh!!! Horrible staff and horrible experience and I come to the area 2 times a year! And they have lost my business!

The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable of places to see in the area. The young lady working the breakfast area was excellent making the start to every day so much better. Had a lot of construction which was a downside but I'm sure when it's done, future guests will have a much better stay. If you're looking at this hotel for the pool, don't even think about it. In two days, I was the only one brave enough to tempt the frigid waters.
