Unable to put it into words how terrible my experience of staying here was. Actually checked out a day/night early to go to another hotel. Do yourself a favour and give this one a miss!!
Room was clean, TV, tea and coffee making facilities fine. It's a shame that hotel has no bar or restaurant. Hopefully they will reopen these soon

The way that the hotel is advertised is not actually what you get. It was very cheap to book a room for a night and it was clean, we slept well and in a nice quiet area. However, there is no bar, no restaurant and it is quite run down. It looks like it was turned over to another owner and they are struggling to run the hotel the way they want to. There was only one person on duty at the front desk; the lift was not working; the room was quite meagre. There is a pervasive smell of mildew in the reception. Also, do not expect an airport shuttle - you will need to get an Uber between £15-25 to the airport.
Overall, perfectly serviceable for a single night stay before your flight.

Absolutely awful experience! Stayed for 1 night as had a flight to catch the next day. Got to the hotel at 4:30pm got given a room that hadn’t even been cleaned even though check in was at 3pm all whilst having to carry a 22kg suitcase up 4 flights of stairs. Asked the cleaner how long the wait would be for the room and she said 20 minutes, which I wasn’t happy about after travelling for 4 hours and as stated before the room should of been ready at 3pm. Carried the suitcase back down to the reception where the man on the desk told me the room was ready and I had to explain that it wasn’t, he then made us wait in the lobby and came back less than 5 minutes later telling me it was now ready, I wasn’t happy as I knew it hadn’t been cleaned properly. I asked him to change my room, after a bit of back of fourth we got a new room. This room wasn’t very clean and the shower didn’t even work. Spoke to the man on the desk again and asked for another new room. He then came back and tried to give me the same room he tried giving me the first time which still wasn’t cleaned. Again after a bit of back and fourth, he changed our room and we had to wait again for it to be cleaned. Finally we had a room but I was not happy. Absolutely awful experience and definitely would never return or recommend to anyone. The staff weren’t really bothered and took us far too long to finally get a room.
Terrible experience. No heating and rude staff. Place should be closed down for H&S reasons. Dump of a place so DO NOT stay here! Checked out early (refund refused) to stay at a neighboring hotel. Trading Standard & Cheshire East Council aware

The hotel is very tired, as soon as you walk through the doors, there is a strong unpleasant smell. It needs a complete makeover
Our room was large but very cold.
I booked this hotel on 1 December for a stay on 15 December. Despite the listing stating that check-in was available at any time, when we arrived at around 9–10 pm we were told there was no room available for us.
The reception staff stated that our booking had been cancelled and that I should have received a notification. This did not happen. I received no email, message, or notification of any cancellation. We were then informed that due to an electricity issue the hotel could not accommodate us and were instructed to rebook another hotel ourselves via Expedia, despite the late hour.
Only after insisting on speaking to a manager were we offered a room with electricity, although it had no working shower. At that point, finding alternative accommodation was not realistic, leaving us with no real choice.
We paid in full for a confirmed booking yet the hotel failed to provide the agreed accommodation and attempted to shift responsibility onto the guest. The service was unprofessional and the handling of the situation was unacceptable.
I would strongly advise others not to stay at this hotel.
There was no airport shuttle service…I was told to download the uber app! There wasn’t any food available when I arrived at 7pm as I was told there wasn’t a restaurant so I had to go to the local Tesco. So I’m not sure how breakfast could be served and I left too early to find out. The room was inexpensive and served a purpose for my travel to the airport.

Twin room was very clean, plenty of storage space and plugs for our 3 phone/watch chargers.
Comfy beds, friendly engaging receptionist
Hotel needs complete refurbishment. No shuttle or bus or taxi service to the airport. Should not be called an airport hotel. Thick layer of dust on top of headboard. Some of the lights were not working. No spare bulbs. No lounge, bar or restaurant. Bed was comfortable and shower worked. That was the best you could say about it. Bath towels were thin. Hand towels non- existent. Bedroom furniture chipped and worn.
Room was ok but surrounding outside looked derelict , rubbish all over , fly tipped sofa , pond full of litter , litter everywhere . Reception smelt damp , takeaway boxes and cans littering communal area , pile of dirty linen dumped on chair , all still there the next morning . Room was marginally better , but tired . No one on reception for check out or I would have pointed out the issues at the time .
On arrival we were put on the 4th floor lift was not working and we had to carry our luggage up the most horrible smell in the stair way. when we got to the room there were 2 single beds put together, and no running water in the bathroom, we were then put in a 2nd bedroom and that was the same no water!!!! By this time I was fuming staff were not very helpful and did not care we were put in a different bedroom after an hour of settling in it took about half an hour to run a bath the water was trickling!!!!! Then we were woken up to a loud bang the tv surrounding had come of the wall. Would not recommend this property at all to stay !!!!!😢 I think one star would be overrated for this place and for the price I have stayed in better quality for less
