The Space
Step through the door and look up. Twenty-two feet of soaring cathedral ceiling rises above you, wrapped in natural light from treetop windows on every side. Carrie Schmitt`s iconic `She Became Herself` mural fills an entire wall from floor to ceiling — a full-wall commissioned work by a nationally recognized artist whose paintings hang in private collections across the country. It is the most extraordinary detail in any vacation rental in Wimberley, and it is yours for the weekend.
The main floor king bedroom opens directly to your private outdoor clawfoot soaking tub — soak under the Texas stars, then step back inside to marble floors and a spa-style double vanity bathroom with 3D tile and a walk-in shower.

We`ve put a lot of love into this space, and we want every guest to have a magical, relaxing stay. To make sure that happens for everyone, here`s what you need to know before you arrive.

The Basics
Guests must be 21+ to book. The Treetop House accommodates up to 4 guests — little ones over 12 months count too. Only registered guests are permitted on the property. If you`d like to have a visitor stop by, just reach out and we`ll do our best to accommodate. Hosting more than 4 guests without prior approval carries a $100 per night per extra guest fee — please don`t surprise us with a crowd!

A Pet-Free Property
We love animals, but The Treetop House is a pet-free retreat. Any unregistered pet on the property will result in a $500 fine. If you`d like to bring your furry friend along, we`d love to point you toward one of our pet-friendly properties — The Artsy Cabin, Farmhouse, or Designers Cottage welcome one dog each.
If you`re traveling with a service animal, please register it with us before your stay. Service animals must remain leashed at all times and cannot be left alone in the house. A $200 fee applies if pet hair is found on any furniture or bedding, and a $300 fee plus replacement costs applies for any accidents inside.

Keep It Peaceful
This is a quiet retreat — no loud parties, events, fireworks, or shooting. We want you to unwind completely, not wake up the Hill Country. 🤫

Smoke-Free Zone
The Treetop House is 100% smoke-free indoors — a minimum $500 cleaning fee applies for any smoking inside. If you smoke outdoors, please take your butts with you — a $50 cleanup fee applies if our team has to collect them.

Complimentary parking for up to 2 vehicles — please plan accordingly.
