Best location and stay experience ever had. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. They have hot and cold meal with lots of options. We stayed there for 4 days and they served hot meal with different choices everyday. Coffee and tea are available all day long. One thing that I like about this hotel is their Managers are there standing in front of the lobby of the dining hall to greet all their guests as they come in for breakfast. And they’re there during the breakfast hours. Such a nice gesture to show how they welcome you at their hotel. Although the room is slightly small for 3 people but it’s comfortable. Hotel is renovated and clean. Great amenities in the room. They have microwave, coffee maker, fridge and safe that are all working. I said this because we also stayed at the holiday Inn Ambassador and it was ok experience that we had there. Few flaws in the HI Ambassador are: no microwave, no safe and coffee maker wasn’t working. The location is perfect. Yhe riverside is right across the street. You can walk down by the sea wall even at late night and feeling safe. Lots of restaurants to choose like the keg, loose and goose pub which their food and drinks are good. Parking is not free but only cost $19 per stay which is cheap and safe. Really love the area. Highly recommend to stay here. We’re definitely coming back to stay at this hotel.

Solid Choice and a Great Location when in Windsor

The hotel had very comfortable rooms location was great. The breakfast buffet was above average from what I am used to seeing at these types of hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Scared and threatened by management and security

Scared and threatened; the security guy in suit followed our ladies and us most of the time, outside the hotel, in the hallway, parking area, and dining area. Our ladies and children were scared. The security guy and the hotel manager lady (whatever their personal relationship is) were threatening us that they will call police and they don't care whatever our problem is (in an IHG hotel? seriously?). Everytime we tried to say something, the manger lady threatened that they will call police and the security guy was always withing a few inches of us. We felt like the security guy (as he identified himself) in suit is in control of the whole managemnt. (Only the kitchen staff were great and helpful and not corrupted by the security guy and the manager!) The manager even told me to take their name as nothing will happen to them. The whole management and security guy must be removed from IHG hotels. One lady at the desk confirmed our room arrangement, and when we arrived there, all ladies at the front desk said, they don't know anything and they will call police if we speak louder. This was very scary. The security guy was always within a few inches beside us and always threatening and interfering the conversation. The whole staff at the desk are like a gang or mob under the security guy. The security guy and the manager lady must be removed from any hotel jobs. I never complained in 10 years on Hotels.com or IHG. Although, I like IHG, this is a disgrace for IHG hotels.

Great location, cleanliness, and service

We booked the river view room. The view was fantastic and the room was clean and fresh. The reception staff was polite and helped us get our things that we forgot in the room after we checked out. The kitchen staff was courteous and assisted us with the breakfast.
