The pool is fantastic for small children. We had a 3 year old to a 13 year old and they all had a great time. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Cleaning staff was great! Terrific breakfast! We will be staying here again.

Nice family staycation spot.

Stayed here primarily because of the pool with waterslide and because it is pet friendly. Average pool depth of a meter is great for single digit kids but like ours but saw older kids having plenty of fun too! The included breakfast was pretty good over all. It can be crowded (we had to return later on one day for a later breakfast as there was literally nowhere to sit) but it does have a pretty good selection. Including self serve waffles and pancakes and hot dishes of some sort of egg (e.g., scramble with vegetables, plain omelet, etc.) cubed potatoes and sausages and then the usual cereals, bagels/toast, etc. Beds were actually quite comfortable for a hotel and the blackout blinds were appreciated. They also did a good job with soundproofing the hotel and you could not tell that it is located right beside the TransCanada and a truck stop nor could you hear neighboring hotel guests. There could be some improvements as far as cleanliness around the outside of the hotel but inside was kept pretty clean overall (and maybe this was somewhat neglected due to winter but noticeable while walking our dog) around the property. The pet bags were a little basic and included a single poop bag, 2 milk bones and a rawhide stick (not complaining as its better than nothing but it is an area that could be easily and cheaply improved). Overall highly recommended for families.

Rooms were clean. Did like that you were not allowed to bring your water bottles to the pool. I can understand not bringing glass containers or alcohol but other beverages/beverage containers should be allowed. Also pool staff very inconsistent in when calling out individuals who brought beverages to the pool.
