Having not stayed at the hotel before , I was unaware of the layout. It was awful…it was such a long way from reception to our room..with multiple sets of stairs up and down, and corridors to content with. I couldn’t find any thermostat in our room to regulate the temperature..which was cold.

Away for work

This was a 1-night stay for work. Car park was free, nice friendly staff at reception. I was in room 36 which was okay in size for 1 night. TV and WiFi were good. Ensuite was okay but no heating in ensuite. Bed was comfortable, but too short for me and I am not over 6 feet tall. Radiator in room did not work but there was an electric heater in room. I also ate in restaurant attached to hotel, food was lovely, service was not fast.

Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, cleanliness was good, but probably the worst water pressure I have ever experienced in a shower in my life. Imagine standing under a watering can with most of its holes clogged up and you will be close to imagining how bad this was.
