I’ll start out with the positives. The hotel is very close to the ocean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The rooms esthetics are simple but nice. I was given room 52 which was the second building to the right of the main building on the second floor. The balcony is nice and although not a direct view of the ocean there is a sitting area in the front of the balcony facing the ocean. It poured my whole stay so that was a bummer. Anyway, the heat did not work and I arrived late so I just went to bed and didn’t notice much because the bedding was warm. The next day it was freezing! I had gone to the front desk and they were going to send maintenance up but that never happened so I messaged the property through Expedia. They sent maintenance up who transferred me to the room next door with heat. He grabbed all the blankets from the old room and threw them on my new bed. Admitting he didn’t know how to make a bed and I don’t blame him one bit for that. I made the bed it was whatever. When I went to check out, I addressed the issues to the manager on duty and he just placed the blame on everyone else including another manager that’s out with cancer. And the woman ahead of me checking out said they didn’t have hot water, that was some excuse followed up by a compliment on her jacket. I expected some sort of reaction or anything other than what I got. Pretty disappointing
