Great location and the hotel is furnished well. It was however loud at night and the bathroom walls being glass offered no privacy. They could also do with some new pillows.

Found the bathroom, unhealthy, and the glass door faced the bed directly. Brought this to attention of hotel and was told all rooms were same and it was a design point. Next day I saw two rooms and the bathroom did not face bed directly. There was mo empathy from hotel staff. Even if they understood my concern they could have said “ sorry unfortunately we are full and can’t change rooms”. Been in 23 hotels in last 9 weeks in Europe and most disappointing one. Design of bathroom poor as well.

Dear Susan thank you for choosing the Scheuble - we have different kind of Room categories - so you might have seen another category, we have an old house 1874 so the rooms are not all the same. you properly had our cozy double room from which we have 14 and 8 of them you see in the bathroom from the bed. the cozy rooms are the ones we sell the most and are almost always fully booked, so the staff might not had the possibility to offer you another room. normally we are happy to change room if needed. our Twin rooms are bigger and you do not see in the bathroom, so for your next stay make sure to book a Twin room instead.drop me a note upon arrival and i will see what i can do for you - stay safe, safe journey - hope to see you soon again kind regards Henrik John HansenGeneral Manager
