Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen area was well supplied. The balcony provided a lovely view of the dunes and ocean. A beach-themed decor in the room was a perfect choice for the setting. The front-desk staff was at all times welcoming and accommodating. We look forward to returning.

The room was clean and they had all the necessities and then some. Staff was friendly. Great price. The mattress wasn't amazingly comfortable but we still slept fine. The only downside we experienced was that the trail to the beach was super muddy and was blocked by logs and debris. The trail itself may not be part of the hotel property so maybe they aren't responsible for maintaining it??

When we arrived we requested an early check in. We were disappointed because the room wasn’t ready as there was a maintenance issue with the door. It was understandable and we browsed the local shops and visited the beach for an hour. We arrived back and were able to check in. The lobby and social areas were clean and smelled like an ocean scent. It was pleasant. We brought our puppy and reserved the two bedroom suite. The room was decorated beautifully, the room was clean and the had dog blankets, towels, dishes, and a treat waiting for him. The beds were okay, they offered more than enough pillows and it was comfortable. The pool was great! My family enjoyed it. We didn’t get to experience the hot tub, that was bummer. We are excited for our next stay at the Canterbury inn!

The room was beautifully appointed. Tastefully decorated and furnished. I am a 73 year old woman just needing a break from the world and returning to the beaches she grew up on. Pleasantly surprised to have such a comfortable room. The front desk people were also very pleasant. Thank you to whomever owns this little piece of paradise.

We rented a dog friendly unit on the first floor, easy to potty your dog with a big slider. The local deer herd happened by, always a treat. And the room was spotless, the pool and hot tub shiny and clean
