Micro Hotel Happiness

citizenM Amsterdam South is a unique chain of hotels with a micro footprint focus. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!

Great hotel for the RAI - a lovely walk through the park to the conference centre. Free bicycles were a real bonus.

Perfect weekend stay. Modern and clean rooms, friendly staff, nice surroundings, tram and metro stations close by. Parking near the hotel really expensive - use the P R parking for 6euro/day.

Yet another great stay at Citizen M. The staff are lovely and always helpful - at any time. Unfortunately I fell ill while on holiday and they were kind enough to allow me to stay in the room a little later to rest up before the journey home. Great coffee and snacks, also very near the tram and train line so convenient to get around but quiet enough to get a good night sleep! Thansk again!

Lovely hotel!

Great location, metro and tram stations near by so easy to get anywhere, very easy to check in and out. My one comment is that the room could’ve been a bit cleaner. 100% would stay again, thank you!
