I was provided with an Amazing corner room with a semicircular view of the city .. to the left I could view the sunrise and to the right was the sunset. Breakfast is extremely poor though.

I had an issue with my room, and Mr. Lorenzo, the duty manager, handled it very professionally. He arranged for us to move to another room with a much better view, and on top of that, he kindly offered us access to the VIP breakfast lounge for the entire stay. His professionalism and excellent service made a great impression, and I would be very happy to stay at this hotel again in the future.

The room was way too hot and we didn’t have control of the thermometer. We did complain but it didn’t get changed. No water dispensers in the gym. Breakfast was mediocre. Very little protein. Fire alarms went off 3 times in a row with no apologies or explanation.

False advertising, stated there'd be a kitchenette on the listing but there was none, it was the only reason I booked here. The hotel is 30 minutes by train from the city center so it is only convenient if you plan to go the arena. Hotel soundproofing is pretty poor, can hear people in the halls and through the walls. Washrooms had mold in different spots and always smelled like urine. Breakfast provided was decent but very packed no matter what time we went for it, every morning had to wait around to find a table to sit and eat, only the last 15 minutes it starts to clear out.

Due to the football match, We had difficulty getting into the building on the day of check in, but Carlos the Deputy Manager was very helpful, but the other Manager from Holidays In express, Mr Haroon was not very professional at all, as a family we didn’t like the way he dealt with our situation, he didn’t even apologies for the issue and inconvenience we had. Mr Carlos is very customer focused Manager, thanks for all his support.

Kind staff but needs some improvement

I was pleased because they allowed me to change my stay from 5 days to 4 days. However, when I arrived to the hotel, my room type was not available and I had to stay in a different room type than the one reserved. The receptionist promised a partial refund, but that never happened. I was moved to my room the next day. Although my correct room type, the AC was not working, and the system to hold the curtains (due to a curved window) was not working and was being held with tape. This meant I had light on my eyes as soon as the sun rose in the mornings and the room was never truly dark. I did speak to someone at the hotel about this but nothing else was offered other than the complimentary hot breakfast. The few staff I interact with was kind thou.

We stayed at this hotel during our visit to Amsterdam and were extremely happy with our overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the transit,so commuting wasn’t an issue at all. The breakfast buffet was just amazing with a whole array of breakfast choices. The staff was very friendly and nice as well. The only issue with the room was that the room didn’t have a fridge which made it hard to save any food as with the heat it could get bad. Moreover, carry your own body crème as the rooms don’t have them.

Love the buffet breakfast. Scrumptious! The rooms are great too. This is my go to hotel in Amsterdam!

Bed was reasonably comfortable. Room and facilities were clean. Breakfast is quite ordinary with not a lot of variety on offer. Coffee is via electronic set up, no freshly ground offered. Pastries were ok. Not sure whether eggs were organic as they looked and tasted like powdered sort. Biljmer Arena Train station is about a 30-40 minute walk. Not a lot of eateries in the vicinity. Hotel was in a quiet area alongside busy street.

Onsite snack shop very expensive. Found breakfast quality not to be the usual holiday inn express standard. Bed comfort fine.
