We gave it all five starts because we LOVED the canal view. It’s an old building with really steep stairs, but this was charming to us. Nothing fancy but great location, clean and we slept great! Close to train station was nice as well. Melvyn checked us in and was very helpful and friendly! Thanks for a great stay!

If you want to stay at a strategic location and don’t plan to stay in your room much, this is for you. We stayed one nights check in went smoothly even without a front desk available and the staff was very friendly. The only thing to really consider is that the stairs are very steep and almost dangerous, I would definitely not able to carry a suitcase on the top floor.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but very small and cramped. The price is very high for the quality of the hotel. Most likely due to the fact it is right on a canal. The picture depicting the hotel is deceiving as it shows the building next door, not the actual hotel we stayed in. The door going in and out of the hotel slams shut very loudly. As our room was right above it, it made us jump every single time. There should be a sign that says "please mind the door as it slams shut". Our host Melvyn was great. He was helpful and friendly. No big complaints but not sure we would stay there again.

This was a very comfortable place to stay, in an excellent location with a great view of the canal. Pretty small space, but very adequate for three people. Bathroom door could use some hooks on the back for towels and clothing, as floor gets pretty wet when showering. I would stay here again. Check in and out was very easy.
